Wow. Got that engine rebuilt already? 8)

Whatever you do make sure you get fresh kits. Any old stock will have rubber parts that the ethanol will eat up quickly.

Good luck.

WOW, what a difference $92,00 at Daytona, and $222.00 at the carburater shop, for all 3 carbs,  mmmmmmm :-\

I didn't recommend them because I make money on them.

They have 3 people making up kits all day long to send out to meet the needs of the buyers. No stale stuff sitting in there. I did a tour of the place when dropping off my Q-Jet for a full going through. I just wish the wait time wasn't so long.

I just rebuilt my tri-power this year. I used the all-in-one kit from the Carburetor Doctor.
They went in fine and work great. But you should note that the Daytona needle valves and seats included in the kit are not pointed, as in any of the other kits I've installed, but flat. As a result, I found I had to bend the float arms more than I expected.
Cost was about $105.

You cannot go wrong with Daytona.  Been in business for years and have a sterling reputation!  No, I am not affiliated in any way -

That is a big difference.  All I can say in defense of the The Carburetor Shop is that at least for 2-barrel Carter WCD carbs like my '49's, he claims his kits are the only ones in which metering rod jets are supplied.

I have used the Carburetor Shop  kit in my 63's  Carter AFB. They have the most thorough kit I've ever seen. Includes new idle needles, springs, step up pistons etc. Can't say what the tri-power kit includes,  but a phone call would possibly help you make an informed decision about the price difference.
