Water pump broke down. Will a two outlet pump with one plug work or do I really need the hard-to-come-by and expensive one-outlet pump?

Julien Abrahams

On my '67 there has been the two outlet pump for over 9 years now. No real problems. My temp gauge reads a bit higher than what is considered "normal" by the owners manual (which states aroundthe 1/4 when fully warmed whil my temp gage is usually somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 on the gage. These two things do not have to be related (there could be anumer of reasons for this indication). Oh yes,one port has been closed using a hose with a bolt at the end.
