I have used Instrument Services Inc. with excellent results for all of the instruments (including speedometers) on my '35 Cadillac and '50 Jaguar ---

I guess you are sure it is the speedo itself and not the speedo cable?

I had contacted Instrument Services Inc., about calibrating the speedometer in my 70 (it was reading 10mph too slow above 65mph).  They would only touch it if they did a full restoration on it.

In the end, I used Southern Electronics in Richmond VA.  I filled out the form on the website, they came back with a quote which included shipping both ways, and, when I accepted, they sent me a UPS shipping label to send it to them.  It came back in under 2 weeks, and it was within 1mph compared to the GPS speed (of course, I could live with that variance).

The whole adventure was less than $90 including shipping.
