Putting the power seat back into Janice's Eldo and was hooking the drive cables back onto the actuators.  It occurred to me that there might be a procedure to ensure left and right side actuators are matched, but can't seem to find it in the Body Manual.  ??

The easiest way to do that is to extend all 4 corners to the max position,  and roll both sides to the front.  This puts the seat as high as it will go and gives you room to reach things if need be. Then just attach the cables  and you're all set.

The motors and transmissions themselves have no stops in them, they are constant.

Thanks.  Makes sense.  I'm going to pull the tranny to clean/regrease.  That'll give me access to the drive cables to setup the actuators as suggested.

You can run the drive cables in the direction of the spiral binding to draw new grease into the sleeves. Removing the cables from the casing is a PITA. This little plastic clips can break and may be difficult to find.

This will work for the shorter cables,  but the longer ones would take forever. Taking the transmission apart is the best way.

I finally found the procedure in the Body Manual, and this is basically it.  I used my drill to set everything to the full-up/full-forward position.  I also rebuilt and relubed the transmission and lubed the cables.  It's all back together and working perfectly.

Thanks to all.   :)
