In a couple of days Mid-Century Cadillac forum is going to shut down. It was a fantastic forum for Cadillacs from 1949-1962. There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum that sometimes was not on the main forum. I would not have been able to get my 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood to the level of first place primary at the 2019 Louisville Grand National, and to be invited to the Concourse d’ Elegance in Milwaukee and won a excellence award without the Mid-Century Cadillac Forum. But enough about me. Lou has been a inspiration to all of us. His knowledge of the mechanical, paint, originality, and history of these Cadillacs is absolutely amazing. Oh and to able to run the forum as well. He will be greatly missed in are Cadillac community. The best to you Lou in your future endeavors I know you will succeed. God bless you Lou and your family

Lou is a top notch car guy. I had the good fortune to meet him at a CLC GN and it was great to discover that he was just as wonderful in person. Lou provided me with priceless information which greatly assisted my work on my 1956 Series 75. He was always there to lend assistance to us all. All the best Lou! Clay/Lexi

The end of an era, no doubt.  Both Lou & the forum will be missed, indeed!  The man was a wealth of knowledge and he freely shared such!

Hi All
I am new here and curious. Will the mid century forum be gone or will the forum be archived somewhere. Thanks

chrisntam

I would hope it could be archived as part of the national club and linked from here somehow.

I bet there is a LOT of information there.

So my question is why is Lou closing the Mid Century Forum?  It was excellent!

Lou is getting out of Cadillacs and moving on to other endeavors. Can’t blame Lou, but its a shame it’s going away.  Lots of good info.  I’ve printed out some threads and materials for future reference.
