I have never done this before, how do i remove the front seat (power) in my '60 / 62 convertible. Need to do some floor pan work and need to remove it.

Thanks!

Make sure power seat is up all the way so you can get at the back bolts. There are 4 bolts in all. 2 front 2 back

It’s very easy, especially  on a convertible.  Just the 4 bolts.  But don’t forget the wiring connectors for the seat and courtesy light.  IIRC there’s also a ground wire.  And it is much easier if you have a helper, especially if they’ve got a lot of upper body strength.  I once got the seat out of a ‘59 Fleetwood by myself, but it was not fun, involved some 2x4’s and a back (mine) that was a bit younger.

This is the way to move a heavy seat.   Engine crane.

The Convertible makes everything easier, that is for sure.
