I often read posts on this forum complaining about vendors which is all well and fine with me. In my opinion Terrill Machine is top notch. I needed my vacuum advance rebuilt for my 55 Fleetwood. It was turned around in two weeks at a price of $83.00 and that included shipping. Installed the vacuum advance reset my timing and Annie idles great. Now to wait for the salt to get off the roads so I can take her for a ride.

I, too, have only had good experiences with Terrill Machine. Used them since 1997. Highly recommended!

I think the father is no more in the business, or no more at the front. When I'm ordering parts from this company, I'm dealing with the son who is also very helpful.
When I had many inquiries and parts orders before Internet, I ordered on a regular basis by Terrill machine. I ordered by fax, but I had to know the price of shipping to let do a bank draft. Therefore, I phoned the company. I was all the time more or less upset because the father read my fax very slowly (phone calls from Switzerland were costly) and at the end gave an answer!
Now, with emails and credit cards, this is really the past!

Had Terrill rebuild my vacuum advance also.  Did a great job.  It was years ago now, but the total cost then was $75, so the price has not gone up unreasonably.

They've always been good when I've used them. I can give you a list of the bad ones if you want, but Terrill won't be on it! Phil

We need to have a new rule on vendors; if you write negative about a vendor, then a positive must be written about another.

Terrill is Tops,

I ordered a new set of lifters for my 1940/346 engine. We tested all sixteen before installing them. One failed the test.  Feltz sent me a packet of 6 new ones and told me to determine a good one and then send five back plus the failed lifter. No charge, nothing. The first one we tested was fine. Soon all were silently operating in my engine. 7,000 miles later all is still well.

I have bought several parts from them and had a fuel pump and vacuum advance overhauled. All satisfactory.

What is it that Terrill Machine does?

Repair things?  Sell new items?  Used items?  They have to do more than rebuild vac advances and sell lifters.

Give them a proper shout out....

I just ordered a fan hub bearing for my '37 and received in 3 days, that's pretty fast shipping. Was the correct part and fits well.

Dave Semper Fi I was also in motor transport and also E4. 1967 to 1971.

I belong to a website just for military personnel all five branches I wanted to post your M 14 information there because we're always talking about munitions. The site is called together we served, something you might be interested in. Costs about $20 a year in some ridiculous price for a lifetime membership. But it's a good way to hook up with buddies and be involved with other Marines. If you're interested PM me and I'll sponsor you.
