I’m reaching out to those of you who’ve replaced the EFI regulator or injector seals.
Wondering if a copper washer is required at the regulator to rail seal as it is for the rail to rail seals? The workshop manual was printed before the 78-C-2 recall which has the new hard line connections for the regulator. Pre recall it was a rubber hose connection.

Well Jagbuxx, what did you find out about your EFI?  I am crazy but considering a 76 that has one if I can get it at the right price.

Dennis, I did use the copper washer as I recall. A leaky injector seal hastened my journey into replacing all of the injector seals and having the injectors tested, requiring 2 replacements. I've had my EFI Coupe for about 15 years now. It has never let me down. I have collected quite a few spare parts over the years. The system is fairly simple compared to newer cars of course. Having the shop manual is a must.

That gives me hope.  I am looking at one next weekend that unfortunately has been sitting for MANY years, at least it has been in a barn.  Depending on if he has lowered his price from early this year, I might be in possession of one and either I get it running or my new home will be on a blow up bed in the trunk lol.  I have not found anyone local that knows how to work on these but fortunately there is this form.  Yes a shop manual is 1st on my list once I have a deal.
