Im based in the uk and im trying to source a new distributor for my 57 fleetwood. Can anyone point me in the right direction please ?

I doubt that you will find one, but who knows...Why do you need another distributor? Did you lost yours?

You'll have to search in your area for either a rebuilder or parts source.   

If you search across the pond, "states", you'll find many rebuilders.   I know of no "new" direct replacement sources, they're obsolete.  NOS is very scarce.   There are people that can even build one, such as Buffalo Machine Works, etc.   I'd expect that rather expensive and rebuilding a core the better route.
There probably are some modern electronic ones that can be adapted, but that's more a discussion for "modified cadillac forum" than here.   
Depending what's wrong with yours, assuming it's not "lost", you can change the "guts" with a pertronix unit and avoid a lot of mechanical issues.   However, the bushings, gear, housing, etc have to be good to work properly.
Parts and people with know how got scarce after they changed to HEI.  Industry changed from repair to replacement only.   Used to be able to go to parts store and get internals and find a garage with a distributor machine, but not for 4-5 decades now.
