Hello everyone,

On a 1952 Cadillac, what were the vacuum lines ?
I see just one vacuum source from the intake manifold and one from the bottom of the fuel pump. That one is facing forwards.

Originally, where would each of these be connected to ? On my car, someone had joined them together with a "Y"joint and then supplied the wiper motor from it.

The outlet from the vacuum pump below the fuel pump, is facing outwards. What was the rout the pipe from that took ?

On later (1955) cars which had vacuum brakes, how was it ? did they just have a bigger supply from the same place on the intake ?
Then what happened to the connection from the vacuum pump ?

Was there a vacuum reservoir ?

Im building the engine for my 52 but want to be able to add vacuum brakes.
