Hello,
Trying to help a club member with his 1931 v8 sedan speedometer cable.  Does anyone have a source for the inner cable or the entire assembly?  I've tried piecing one together but have had no luck.  I would think that 28-33 should work.  I know that 36 up is different.
Thanks to all.  Stay safe!

Any luck with Texas Industries?  They were a big help with my '35.

Not yet.  We got in touch, but their guy who does the work has been out or busy every time we've called.  We may have to just drive down there.  We'll keep you posted.
Thanks,
Ken

Ken,
Ask them if they can provide you with both inner cable and outer housing. Every speedshop that I’ve talked to says that both need to be changed at the same time. A new inner cable in an old housing will give you a lot of trouble down the line.

Give these folks a try-- in business over 60 years and owners send them their speedometers from all over the world for repair and restoration. They are a mile from where I live but do business nationally and globally.

Bill,
Thanks for the info.  We may have found a guy in San Antonio (about 80 miles away).  We should know soon.
Take care,
Ken
