I am planning on ordering diamond back radial auburn tires.  I understand they can put on any white wall width.  Which is correct?

Thanks

I believe the Auburns are already whitewalled and come in only a couple of widths.  Diamondback will indeed put any width WW on a radial tire but the Auburns are already finished.  Once you know the exact width you want, call Diamondback and ask the about the Auburns, or having a set of tires (your choice of brand pretty much) made with the width WW you want if the Auburns don't satisfy your requirements.  The 8:20R15 Auburns I just bought from D.back for my "not-a-Cadillac" have 3.25" WWs, one of 2 choices if I remember correctly (and I may not).  The 7/8" Diamondbacks I have on my '35 Cadillac resto-mod are Michelins.

The correct width is 2 1/4” and unless they’ve changed their approach in the last couple of years, DB has Auburns with that width. I have them on my ‘61.
