I am restoring a 1957 Eldorado Biarritz and I wan to get the correct dual carb setup on it. In 1957 were the dual carbs Carters or Rochesters and does anyone know the correct casting number for the intake manifold. We have a setup that is supposed to be for a 1957 but before we install it we want to be sure that it is correct.

Can't give you the numbers, but the car I worked on had Carter WCFB carbs.

Dave is correct, they were Carters.  Number for the single
carb was 2479S.  The additional carb for the 2 X 4 setup
was a no cost option.  Sorry but I don't show the listing
of a different carb # for that, although the two are usually
different.

Perhaps somebody with a '57 will see this and reply.

My parts list calls for 2890S see attached.
P/N for manifold.   Goes by engine number sequence.   So need the build sheet.

Here you go....
I bought this one years ago for a project but decided on an aluminum Weiand intake instead. Please message me if this interests you.
