What diameter are the "freeze plugs" in  a 346?      Also, I'm in the process of replacing the wiring harness and I would like to start the engine while I'm waiting for some grommets to be delivered. I will run temporary wires to accomplish this.     What is the minimum I need to connect?   Battery, to starter, to coil, to distributor?   The voltage regulator isn't needed without the generator, correct?      I don't need to run the generator but as I'm writing this, I should connect it to make sure it's still ok.
I know then I'll need the regulator.  Will someone sketch a rough diagram? I will greatly appreciate it.  Thanks, Bob.
