Hello ,
I am pretty sure the length of the positive cable is 65 inches . Is the Negative cable the same length ?

            Thanks,

Definitely not.

The Negative Cable only has to travel from the Battery to the Chassis, or the Battery to the engine block.   Probably a distance of 12" to 18".

Not sure, but someone should come in here and give the Specifics.

But, it needs to be long enough to go from the Battery to the Starter Motor, without being too tight, or loose.   Nothing worse that being too close to the Exhaust Manifold, or rubbing on an upper control arm.

According to Rock Auto, it's either 51 inches or 58 inches.

Iffin it were me, I'd get the longer one.

Increase the cable size too, it will help with hot starting issues.
