Has some good Eldo pace car shots.  This was the Indy with the terrible accident.

Plus, the driver is still wearing his hat.   Must be tied on.

Congrats Bruce on 10000 posts of help, feedback and encouragement to Cadillac fans!  Fitting that your post counter hit 10000 in response to the Indy 500.
Hoping for a Standard Trans Cimarron

Great catch!  10,000 posts indeed!  I believe that number translates into approximately 1000 posts per year that he been an administrator on this board..  The club in general, and message board in particular, has benefited from his hard work over the years!

Congratulations Bruce!  Thanks

I've gone that fast in the DVC, but not in the back seat.

Bruce should make his 10,001st post saying this post has veered off topic and to keep it Cadillac related.

I've gone that fast in the DVC, but not in the back seat.

The most I ever did in my 69 convertible was 90 with the top up. The top was fairly new at the time,  and after I stopped for gas, I noticed that it had stretched it out pretty far. It took another day for it to return to the normal tightness it had before I did that.
Needless to say, the next time I tried exceeding the limit in that car, I had the top down.

Rick

And yes, congratulations are in order to you Bruce!  Stick around for another 10000 posts won't you?
It's great to have people with your experience to share with us your knowledge and wisdom.
And thanks for your help.

Joe Caristo and I were working on my Pace Car all day today.
I’m upgrading the chrome and moldings on the car and some interior bits.
I have to leave the paint original because although Tim Pawl makes the graphics for the car, the striping is irreplaceable.

This is a really nice car and I am having fun with it.
