I am having the '47 Convertible serviced tomorrow.  I forgot what goes in the shock absorbers.  What product can I buy and bring with me that the garage may not have?

I used hydraulic jack fluid, available at many auto parts stores, for years with good results. Some persons prefer motorcycle fork oil, which I think is available in various viscosities.
If the shocks leak fluid, rebuilding is the only really satisfactory answer, which is not a do-it-yourself job for most persons.

Thanks Bob, now I remembered:  jack fluid.  I will call the garage and see if they have any
