Greetings from The Cadillac La Salle Club of New Zealand (Inc)

Hello everyone. August is our mid-winter and we’ve had a fair share of the wet stuff all over NZ.

Covid-19 is still dominating the news headlines, here and around the world. NZ infections have been curbed in compulsory quarantine and the number stands around 25 at writing this. All from Kiwis returning to NZ and bringing back the ‘bug’ with them. UK, US, South America, South Africa, Italy, parts of Europe they are all imported. Meantime, the rest of us are allowed to ‘roam freely’ under Level 1 whilst exercising care. ‘Tracing’ is still a big deal here â€" just being mindful of where we go, who we mingle with, just in case.

Our thoughts go out to the poor residents of Melbourne and now Sydney where a ‘Second wave’ seems worse than the first and it sounds as if a full lockdown back to Level 4 is on the cards for Melbourne.

Of course other parts of the world are fairing not much better. Our prays go out to our friends in the US, UK and Europe where infections are still unfortunately plentiful.

So without further a-do, let me tell you a little about what’s in this issue!

Go for a cruise, take a pic (even your Caddy on a deserted road or even in your driveway â€" maybe a great Kodak moment?), remembering to try and make them either ‘Large’ on your phone or 2+MB (no more than 5MB) on your camera (or cell phone), is always good!
