Who can I get to overhaul my 1938 LaSalle v8.  I live in Ky so hopefully someone close.

I see no one has replied.  This thread has some good reading material and I'm happy to send you the Word file I mention in it. http://forums.cadillaclasalleclub.org/index.php?topic=159745.msg460726#msg460726

I can only recommend my experience which is in Michigan (5-8 hours away depending on where in Kentucky).  My local shop (Reichert Engines in Owosso, MI) did a great job and are quite reasonable in rates. I'm sure there is someone closer that can do your rebuild.

First thing to do is disassembly and cleaning of the block. Check for cracks.  It seems that is one of the major culprits on these engines that don’t run anymore.
