If I am correct 1947 cadillac ser # ranged from 5420001 to 5428555. what are the production numbers of all 47  various models . 3500 for club coupe?? others?  is 8555 the total for all models.  Any rhyme or reason to serial # sequence vs model?  Did all have same engine?

I have no clue, but my serial number on my 47 is 8440691
1947 Cadillac series 62
1958 Corvette
1990 Corvette ZR-1
1993 Corvette ZR-1, NCRS
2008 Denali XL Duramax & Allison
2011 Corvette ZR-1

The 1949 Master Chassis book list 1947 numbers as:

Series 60S: 6240001 - 6428800
Series 61:  5420001 - 5428555
Series 62:  8420001 - 8459835
Series 75:  3420001 - 3425036

Roy Schneider's Cadillacs of the Forties shows Series 61 production as 3,395 Coupes and 5,160 Sedans (8,555 total)
