I'm watching an episode of the 1950s TV series Highway Patrol with Broderick Crawford as the star. In the blink of an eye I spotted a 57 wagon, I didn't know such a thing existed! I've seen photos of 56s and other years but not a 57.

I watch those old episodes on Youtube myself.  One
thing I do enjoy is the 50's nostalgia and the nice
selection of cars they used.  I always can spot a few
nice old Cadillac's.  Broderic Crawford does a great
job as well.

Hey Phil. How are yeah? Yes, Highway Patrol had lots of nice classic car scenes. Back on the old Mid Century Cadillac Forum we had an awesome ongoing thread on Cadillacs in the movies. I sure miss that topic. Lots of great photos as well. Phil and I would go into detail about the cars and also toss in some trivia on the film. Once you start looking, Cadillacs were found in reasonable numbers & with errors as well. Like when 2 different cars were passed off as the same vehicle in Hitchcock's North By Northwest, (1959). The '54 Series 75, then suddenly became a '55 Series 75 when viewed from the rear when driving away from Cary Grant on the Highway. You would have loved those posts Mike. We should start one here. Always nice to see them out in the wild and back in the day when they were new. Clay/Lexi

Hi Clay, that was a great thread we had going there. I'm hoping to be able to post more stuff on this forum these days as I've been absent the last few months. Mike, I've got to the point where all I watch on TV nowadays is old films and TV series. I've always liked old stuff but it's also a way of escaping the world we live in today. Phil
