Turn Signal Flasher

Does anyone know what letters are used to identify the 3 prongs on the turn signal flasher on a 56 series 62?  I'm looking to purchase a late model 4 way flasher and the instructions say I have to hook the red wire  to terminal "L".

 Here's a picture of a 3 prong flasher with the terminals identified. Hope this helps some.
