1966 Wiper motor

Hi guys. Looking for a replacement wiper motor to my Deville-66. Searching on the net i found this:Windshield Wiper Motor Front Cardone 85-142(EBAY) According to the seller it only fit's the Fleetwood-66,not the Deville? Is there any differences between the models and series when it comes to this motor?

I just replaced my wiper motor with a new one from Cardone. However, mine is a 68 Coupe deVille.

I honestly don't know about 66's or Fleetwood vs deVille, but I looked at where I got mine...CarParts.com...and it looks like they don't have one for a 66. And I thought MY car was tough to get parts for!

Thank you for answer.I have spoken to Cardone and their wiper motor is for Caddy from -68 and the -66 Fleetwood they said. Weird that they dont refurbish to Deville,such a large serie. Can´t find any renovated to -66 Deville or Eldorado on the net.

Look up "Wiper Works" on the 'Net. It is run by a man named Danny Tate in Tennessee. He will remanufacture your existing wiper motor to be as new. He's done 3 for me of various years.

Lars,

There’s one wiper motor for all models in ’66.

Group 10.150A; Motor, windshield wiper; PN 4916037 â€" Motor less washer pump, w/ gear box

If that Cardone motor works in one ’66 model it should fit all.

There should be interchange on this as well.   The big GMs were pretty much the same.
If it's just the motor, an electric motor shop maybe able to repair, if they can get the brushes.   I don't recall what motor size it is or who made them.   I recall they were integrated with the washer pumps, and might have broken parts or switch issue.   They make a WW squirter pump retrofit, that does away with the ratchet, if needed. 
If you can't find a rebuilt or new, try "all cads" or one of the parts guys.   Two era Cad junk yards, one WVA and NC.

According to the manual i think it´s the relay switch who has done it´s last.The wipers won´t go down and park,they just flipping in bottom off the window. Low and high speed works just fine. Bye the way, thank´s for your answers.
