Hello,

I have a 1979 Cadillac Seville with leather seats (color is Antique Saddle, code 602).

I have a simple question : are the door panel covers also made of leather (same color) or are they made of some sort of vinyl, faux leather or whatever. If it 's not leather, it's fairly well imitated.

I need this information because a small piece of door panel cover has been torn off and I want to fix it.

Thank you for your help.
Regards

Thierry

It would have been finished in a smooth textured vinyl.

The vinyl on the door panels and seat skirts (that's everywhere but the seat faces) is called Doeskin, a heavier, smoother vinyl than on regular Cadillacs. You can buy it, not cheap.

I'm a Seville owner in France, I try and keep a track of '76/'79 Sevilles in France and generally in Europe, more than you might think?

Hello JP,

Altough this is a bit off topic, I'm a Seville owner from the Netherlands and I also own the website www.cadillacseville.org.
Could it be that we had emailcontact in May 2016?

Just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for hosting the cadillacseville.org website - it has been a tremendous asset, and I thank you for the effort and time that has been undertaken to make all of this information available for owners.
