Hi, looking for a little help, I recently bought a few boxes of misc 49 Cadillac parts. However, I found a few pieces that don't belong to my 49. Can anyone help identify the parts in the pics?

I'm going to say in the top picture they are horizontal grill pieces, middle picture is inside door panel trim goes on the bottom of the door and third picture are front rocker molding goes on just behind the front wheel.     Harry

I mean, that are 1942 Cadillac parts, one is the hood lip, the other is the 2nd strut of the 6-piece grill, seen from above.
So the one who sits between the round parking lights / indicators

Because:
1941 had 10 smaller ribs, more or less of the same length and an additional hood lip
1942 had 6 ribs, the only model in which 2 struts were shorter than the hood lip and an additional hood lip
1946 had 5 ribs in die-cast zinc, no sheet metal, where all cross struts were longer than the additional hood lip in die cast zinc
1947 had 4 ribs, again sheet metal, with all cross struts longer than the additional hood lip, here the hood lip was divided

I think Oliver has it, but add sometimes plated cast/metal parts like the grill section will have a part number cast on them somewhere on the back side and can look up.  Stainless/aluminum trim not so, but NOS will be in a package with the P/N.
Good news, you have nice left and rights.  Someone shaved something.
