How to you flip attachments to right side up?

I’ve tried. I must be missing something

within you phone, go to edit the photo, use the rotate tool, rotate it to a opposite side, save it, then rotate it back to what you want it to.
when you post you see a tiny version of the photo, check to see if it is in the correct orientation.
