Cadillac Service Sign

Wondering if any of you Caddy experts would know the approximate age/era of this antique Cadillac Service sign.  It measures  8 1/2" high by   12" wide.  Estimated value would also be appreciated.

That's a beautiful sign. I've never seen one like it. It's post war, probably late 40's, I think.

I shouldn't say fake, except for the age, rather a poorly made novelty.
There are some very good reproduction porcelain signs out there meant to deceive, but I wouldn't consider this either.

It looks old but then that is the point. The Cadillac script is the give away.

I believe a Cadillac sign in the 40’s would’ve been done in “block” letters and not in cursive, I could be wrong.

The mounting holes have brass inserts.  This is usually the sign of a reproduction
