Gotta say, I'm loving seeing all the Cadillacs on display in today's Presidential Inauguration events.

I wonder if those Cadillacs were "Made in China"?

And not much in the way of a Cadillac in them either.

More truck than car.

No Cadillac had a door that thick, needing a person to hold it open with two hands, plus the thing is so high it is a wonder that there is no step ladder provided to climb aboard.

With the exception of the discontinued CT6 Plug-in, even consumer Cadillacs sold in the U.S. aren't made in China.

These are great photos, thanks for posting, I missed this part of the parade.

There’s a lot of ignorance and anti-GM sentiment out there.  You never know what people think or want to imply.  There are people out there who currently believe that most Buick models sold in the U.S. are made in China.  Besides, I wasn't the only one who commented that the government Cadillacs were not made in China.

A Seville STS.  I've mentioned it in the past.

Wait a few years and a couple new lopsided trade deals and they will be.

Anything is possible, I suppose.  So far, it's only been the Cadillac CT6 Plug-in and Buick Envision.

Your comment reminds me of an experience I had in 1998. My wife and I flew to Canada and picked up a 1963 Series 62 convertible and drove it back to the US. When we got to the Customs office at the Canadian-US border, the agent tried to assess an import duty on the car. I reminded him that it was an American product being brought back to the US and therefore (at that time) duty-free. He paused for a few seconds and then asked me how I knew the car was made in the US. I rolled my eyes and asked him where else would a 1963 Cadillac have been made? I left a few minutes later with no duty assessed or paid.
