Is there a difference between PF7-C and PF7 oil filters?

I've got a few NOS PF7-C oil filters for my car, but they're a bit harder to come by on eBay and somewhat expensive for a disposable part. I can get white filters with a clear PF7 decal that I apply more easily and at a cost I'm comfortable spending on a disposable part. While there is the obvious difference of the name, is there any difference in the structure and effectiveness in a PF7-C versus a PF7 filter?
