Does anyone make these or am I SOL?  I was inspecting mine and its turned rock hard over the years.  I'm afraid when I go to service my AC that something will break.

Tim,

If you are referring to the rubber A/C flex line for the air exhaust on both sides of the evaporator I’m not aware that anyone is making these, and if you are lucky in finding them in eBay they usually got for two arms and three legs.

Good luck..!

Its the square looking rubber boot that comes off the blower motor.  So I guess I'm SOL?  Mine are there and they look intact but they're rock solid.

Tim,

I was told by an old mechanic that he use to soak the old rubber pieces in vinegar to soft them up, now I’ve never try that trick so can’t testified if that is legit.   ???

Good luck..!

IF you can get them off without damaging them,  try soaking them with silicone spray and sealing in an airtight bag.  Let soak for several days, repeat as necessary.  I was able to rejuvenate several items on my '53 this way.

Tbh I'm afraid to remove them.  The original rubberized coating on the motor casings still exists but its brittle as all get out.  I suspect the rubber boots would crumble if I did that.
