I need to replace the beltline felt in my 1955 CDV.  It appears to be original and its in poor shape.  How difficult is this to replace and are there premade kits for such a thing?

As far as I know, they are no premade kit. In the eighties, I replaced the ones from my Sedan de Ville. If you don't have two left hands, they can be reproduced without difficulties. The main issue is to reproduce the bent end. The stabilizing wire must be cut to be able to bend at 90
