The stayfast vinyl top on my '76 Eldorado  came loose at the 2nd bow & has a 3 to 4 inch seam rip by the back windows on both sides (see Photo). Anyone tried & had luck repairing these issues ? Other than that the top is in very good condition...And the nearest place willing to replace it is 150 miles away.

I have a plan in mind that will most likely fix these problems quite well...Just waiting on materials... But still open for any input & suggestions.

You probably need a new top. Did you figure this out? Stayfast is cloth, not vinyl.

How old is the top?

It looks very tight in the picture, and therefore could have shrunk, so I don't like your chances of getting it fixed without the repair standing out.

Did the tack strip come unstapled from the second bow or did the strip come off the top itself?

I second the previous advice given.  The top looks
very tight, it appears to have shrunk with age.  Your
best (and only practical) solution is to invest in a
new top.

Looks like a nice Eldorado, give her an early holiday
present!
