I'm looking at some parts for my '61 offered by a number of sellers. Some don't answer emails or phones and some have very sparse online reviews. Anyone care to weigh in on the best and not so best sellers?  USA Parts? Fusick? Honest John's? McVey's? All Cadillacs? Cadillacville?  (Never mind Caddy Daddy. Their prices are crazy over market).

In my opinion all are reputable with an exception for one I don't know anything about.  I'm not personally familiar with Cadillacville so can't comment on them.

What happened to USA parts??  Not invoicing or taking calls.

I have a 75' Eldo and bought a lot of parts from OPGI, USA Parts, Fusick and found them good with no problems.

I don't know anything about the person running Cadillacville, but I believe the guy took over D Baer's Cadillacville.  Over the years I have ordered all of these. I have had the best  experiences with Fusick and Honest John.

Yes, I discovered the same with USA Parts. Shame, because they list some items that are hard to find elsewhere.

I personally know the Honest John's folks and have been to their yard a few times.  Great folks, no issues.  They have a LOT more parts than what appears on their website, so hopefully you can get through to them on the phone.

I have used Fusick extensively with great service. Last time on the phone they explained that they had serious shipping issues with USPS (up to 70% delivery issues), and sent my last batch of stuff via courier. More costly, but their service and help has always been excellent. Also used McVey's once or twice with no issues. Chip's Caddys is another dealer you may consider and he is also excellent. Cadillacville is the old D'Baers and Michael Bankes now runs it. You will occasionally see his posts on this site. I have had numerous dealings with him and always found Cadillacville (formally known as Faded Fins-don't you just love that name?), very accommodating. He will go out of his way if necessary to help Cadillac people. I would not hesitate to use his services. Cadillac Parts Limited was another great, knowledgeable guy to deal with. Have yet to deal with Honest John's but have heard nothing but good things about them. Clay/Lexi

I have used honest johns, All Cads, Ed is very good. Cadillac Parts Unlimited, Mike is very knowledgeable and can be a lot of help. I have had great experience with all three.
Thanks Wayne

Forgot about Allcads, and yes, they have also been good to deal with. I would agree that Cadillac Parts Limited (Michael Gadaleto) is extremely knowledgeable as is Craig Wood (McVey's). Cadillac LaSalle Antiques features another knowledgeable individual in John Gately as is also Brian Faull another Cadillac rare parts specialist, (who is also active on this Forum). There are others whose names escape me at present. Have not yet dealt with Caddy Daddy. Clay/Lexi

Give John Gately in Massachusetts a call   617-445-3300.  He is open from 2:00 to 7:00 pm  eastern time.  Been in business for ever.  Has most anything you will want or need.

A few of you guys mentioned Caddy Daddy ... I've only dealt with them once, they had a part I couldn't seen to get anywhere else (I was on a waiting list at McVeys)... yes, they are a bit pricey but the shipping was really swift 👍

Fusick?     I've used them. I have even been there a few times.  Nice people.  Eager to please and rectify any problems.

Honest John's?   Haven't used them.

McVey's?       Good stuff, but pricey.

All Cadillacs?    Haven't used them.

Cadillacville?    Haven't used them.

Caddy Daddy?   Pricey.

USA Parts?     Message board rules prohibit me from describing my several experiences with them.

I have used Cadillacville several times during the past year searching for some parts for my 1959 and can say nothing but good things about Michael.  He took an interest in my project and was very patient in answering my questions.  I also found his parts priced reasonable.  Highly recommended.  Also I have had good experiences with Fusjik and Fatsco for transmission parts.

Interesting non-comments about USA Parts as fellow member gkhashem just posted this information said to pertain to this business entity. Clay/Lexi

Another place not often mentioned, is Dans Classics, in Portland, Oregon.

I have always been very pleased with their products and service.

Many years ago McVey's offered a special run of reproduction King Bee side view mirrors with the Lasalle logo on them. I called to inquire about the price. He told me "The price is $ X but because I only have one left I want $ 3 X for it." I never ordered again from them.

I want to add Rubber the Right Way,  Waldron and last but not least NAPA. NAPA offers a lot of personal service and advice not available on the internet. My NAPA contact refered me to a shop for a generator rebuild and radiator repair I could not get on the internet and they were local so service was measured in days, not weeks, and no shipping.
