Anyone have a crafty way of getting this thing apart? Its off a 2 bbl Carter, Ive cleaned it, but ive gotten Wix filter 42297 and i had hoped the top assembly would go over it without butchering it.

Right now, ive got a cut out made of phenolic material to go over the top of the air filter so at least it's all sealed up.
