Informatiom form the VIN System

I recently got information from ALLIDED VAUGHN about my 1987 car but there is some information that I am trying to find.  I have gained a lot but I still don't know what the last six numbers on the vin system mean.they are listed as production sequence numbers. mine are 316857. I you these or where I could find the it would be appreciated.

Production sequence number a/k/a "broadcast number" is simply the number assigned to the vehicle in the order in which it was produced during that model year's production.

Thank you for your reply. I have been told by several people that the Fleetwood sixty special is a low production numbered I have been at a loss to get any information. Do you have any way that i might get more information for my car?

Only information I was able to find is that production had been planned at 2,000 Fleetwood Sixty Specials for 1987 & 1988. Body construction was carried out by Hess & Eisenhart which was also the case for the FWD Series 75 from 1985 - 1987.

Hopefully someone else knows production broken down by year.
