Starting to look at the 2000 year style Eldorado as an everyday driver. Has the Northstar engine problems been fixed at this problem. Are there any issues I should be looking for.?
Thanks,
Martin

Art Director

Northstar engine problems weren't completely fixed until 2005. You are at risk of a head gasket leak. My 2003 DTS met that fate and I got rid of it. However, I had a 2001 Eldorado ESC that had about 112,000 miles with no problems, but it was totaled in a wreck.
