Just took a long ride before putting my Lasalle to bed for the winter but unfortunately the drivers side suicide door flew open and put a dent in rear fender and of course ripped the door check apart. Does anyone have an idea where I might find a door check?

Ouch! The down side to having suicide doors. When I was young we had a Lincoln with suicide doors. I remember the rear passenger door coming open when we turned the corner. Luckily we were going slow. My father replaced the car shortly after that.
