Hello!

I had a question regarding glass on my 1960 62 series. I have 2 cracked windows (driver side window and small window). Should I find a replacement from a parts car or should I just take it to the local glass shop to reproduce a new window for me.

Would love to hear the POV to find original replacement vs just getting a new replacement.

I would contact Auto City Classic for the glass. They are prompt and offer it at a good price. That's assuming you are replacing the glass in the frames yourself. If you send your frames, they can rebuild them quick. Even rechrome them.

Flat glass is easy for a local glass shop to reproduce, take the frames and they should also remount them for you.  Take the old cracked glass with you for a pattern.

Duc,
was it your intention to replace the glass in OEM fashion or just some replacement glass.

Tint or no tint - needs to match the balance of the adjacent glass and total car.

Also, does each cracked glass have the "BUG" on each.

If it is important to you, find replacement glass with the ability of matching the "BUG"

Have fun,
