My new CLC badge arrived but the bolt is too short for my front grill.  Does anyone remember what they used or where they found a thread extender?  Thank you

Yes, but can be done with a drill, a Tap and a piece of Brooker rod, oh, and a vice.

Try Home Depot or the local hardware store for a thread extender....

This will get you started.....What size is the stud you have to extend?

G'day Mike,

That will also work perfectly.

When the Cadillac LaSalle Club of Australia made their Rally Badges for the 2010 Bathurst Rally, they designed the attaching point for all types.

The thread attachment was a female fitting in the back, plus a 3" length of threaded bar and nut was included.

They have couplers. A threaded sleeve.
Thread it into the stud and use a bolt and washer from behind.

71 can you provide a link?  I'd like to buy one of those so I can install my badge the next time I have my 55 out.
