What's the correct factory gold look for the 1952 emblems? Matte or shiny? Thanks!

Hello
I just had my trunk V replaced, it was shiny and was replayed to a high gloss. Can't speak to factory but I believe gloss is correct.
Here is mine completed in November
Hope the info helps. Good luck.it was done by speed sport plating in TX, http://www.speedsportchrome.com/

Shiny (full gloss) is correct, I believe.

Yes, shiny gloss is correct for 1952 gold-plated trim.
