Sellers Comments:

1973 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with 83,000 actual miles, runs and drives excellent, newer tires, new exhaust and brakes, convertible top works and is in good shape, gorgeous red leather seats, underneath and floors are solid. car needs light cosmetic work, paint touch up and bumper adjustment. $8200.00 or reasonable offer. Call for additional info 330-606-7476, Jim. NO TEXTS OR E-MAILS.

My Notes:

Over priced perhaps, on Craigs List for at least 25 days now, at $8,200.   But otherwise this may be a nice driver.   $5,500?

To me, when I see that the seller is noting actual mileage of 83,000, that's not low mileage. It is for my 2021 Toyota Tundra in a few years but with planned obsolescence still a thing in the 70's, 83,000 may represent a lot of maintenance issues with a new owner.  I doubt the A/C works, but that's not in the description.

The upholstery may be red leather, but it is not in very good condition.

Door panels (Arm Rests) badly cracked and has had some really dirty laying on the back seat.

Easy now . . . this is a family forum!  ;)

I also noticed that it is listed in the town where I went to high school.  Now, about that back seat . . . .

It looks like there has been a box laying across the back seat, and left marks about a foot up from the bottom, and a foot from the back.

Maybe they tried to clean the seat, but the marks are still there.

The gear shift looks like it's clocked at near noon. Is that right?
