 I have two cadillac water pumps - WHAT year are they for?
Casting #s   1455524   AND  1464403-3

ANY help appreciated  

 (I KNOW one is for a 49)

Michael, Mr Bentwrench had an article in the SS a few years back, on which water-pumps fit which engine. I dont remember which issue.

When Bentwrench answered my question on water pumps, in the Self Starter some time ago, as usual, the respons was useless. The next month someone, other than him, provided some good info. But enough ranting. I finally found a reference book on casting numbers.

1455524 is for a 1949 Cadillac
1464403 is for a 1956 Cadillac
