I wonder if those who manage this site will be able to do what other sites have managed to do.

I can post pictures on at least the following sites from my smart phone. It only takes a few. seconds.

Craigs list

eBay

Facebook

Anybody's email  inbox

and probably many more.

It would be so nice if it were that easy in this forum. The smart phone is dominating the amateur photography industry.  We all enjoy the pictures of restoration and I often take pictures of things I want to share and instantly send them to friends and relatives but I am not able to do it in this forum. I would be the first to admit that it could be my lack of knowledge but if so how to proceed from here?

If there is a way I owuld sure want to learn it?

Gary: I will see if this picture will post direct from my IPhone 5. If the picture of three 47 62 series fast back Cadillacs gets posted then I will explain how it is done. If it does not post, then back to the drawing board. Bill        OK Gary the picture posted without too much trouble. Getting late so I will give you details tomorrow.     Bill

Thanks Bill, now to see if my Samsung S-4 is as smart as your I- phone.

I know they are both smarter than I am!!

If this works I am sure a lot of us will be able to post more than we do now.

I have posted photos from my iPhone on this message board.
The main problem is that u r image files are way to large to display correctly.
So I email them to myself and select "medium" when pro pet to select a size.
Then I save the image from the email as a copy.
That's the image I used to upload instead of the original.

Thanks Brian,  My problem is that I am not too computer savvy and the only way I know how to do it is to download onto my computer, reduce them and then post them. I do not know how to post them from an email.  I know I can only email one picture at a time because my phone has such a high resolution. Possibly I should research how to reduce the resolution in my phone?  My computer skills are minimal. I love my computer and my phone but they do not have a good relationship with each other.

Hello Gary,

Assuming your S4 is using the Android operating system, try this link:

You should also be able to search for sending photos from an email.
