Can anyone confirm or deny that the door spear for a 50-52 Cad 2 door coupe or convertible came in both stainless and chromed steel.  These are about 48 1/2" in length as compared to the 53 which is 44 1/2".  I have two of the chromed steel and I believe one of the stainless for my 50 convert, however, a few people who claim to be experts say that is impossible since the first stainless door spear didnt come out till 53.  I would like to purchase another stainless one if possible.
