who sells a battery that goes in a 54 Cadillac

parkinsonb@ia4u.net

NAPA sells one for that car.  Im assuming it is the same as my 55.  The battery is the same size as some popular tractor batteries.  I have bought a couple and have been pleased.

If you have a Tractor Supply Corp. store in your area, they have about every size and type battery known, and their prices sre very reasonable. And, yes, they have the 54-56 battery.

hi doug
is this the same battery as a 56 i talked to a guy in brisbane at comet batteries and he said that they looked like fork lift batteries. he also said that they could rebuild my old tar top. are you still in australia

Doug Houston

Im sure that the battery for the 56 also applies to the 54. The cars were too much alike. Its actually the 12 Volt version of the "end-to-end" assembly that was used by Buick-Olds-Pontiac from 1937 for many years. I have my second 56 Cadillac now, and Ill soon be buying a new battery for it.

Ive never been to Australia, unfortunately.

NAPA has it.  Any battery manufacturer should have it.  It is a popular tractor 12V battery size EE.
