Hi, Friend of mine asked me to broker an 81 Pierre Cardin Edition El Dorado. It is listed under "Dream Cars" on this site and is the one used in the ad, "wine color w/tan interior".
Seems to be some question about the value. Any help
Chris

Hi Chris,

I saw this post had received no response so I decided to give you a little guidence.  First :  the car is a specialty item and as such carries with it some value.  However, in this hobby, as in most things, its value is based on what people are willing to pay for it.  The best way to get that information is to survey local papers want ads, eBay Motors, and othher online trader sites for like automobiles.

There are also sites like NAPA and Antique Automobile where a value generator can be used to give a range of value based on condition.

and this site has been very helpful in answering some of your question :

I hope that helps a little.  Good luck!
