77 DeVille 425 & mid 60s Chevy SM465

Hi,

I would like to know if a 1977 DeVille 425 engine (rear wheel drive w/TH400) will mate with a mid 60s Chevy truck 4 speed 4x4 SM465 transmission using the Chevy bell housing.

PS - If it helps your 425 is a BOP while the Chevy is not.
