The brass ground wire  is broken, one seems to be looped around the other. Is there two brass ground wires? Is it possible to solder the two together? any suggestions? If I hold the 2 pieces together the wipers work.

On my 60 there is one earth braid from the wiper motor housing to the firewall. Thats all you need,

If the wires are brass or copper, theyll solder like crazy. Copper and its alloys take solder like a sponge. And, should you ever wonder, silver gobbles solder even moreso!

Thanks,I will get out the soldering iron and put those copper wires together.

Tony Toma

Thanks the soldering iron did it. I apprecaite the help.
