The 57 Eldo Brougham calls for an 8.40X 15 which is no longer in production. The recommended tire is 8.20x15. I have purchased 900X15 for this car and they look huge. In doing the math they are only 11/16 taller than the 8.20s This is based on a .85 aspect ration used in the 50s I figure this is a fairly minor increas in size for 9 inches of ruber on the road. Of course Im looking at these tires as they came from the vendor and they have not been infated and are in the orginal wrapings. I hope once they are mounted they will look ok and function well. Anyone used a 900 on a car of this size?
