Would a 58 Fleetwood seats be trimmed in leather or vinyl?
THANKS MUCH.

Barry Wheeler #2189

The sitting on portions of the seats would always be leather, especially in a Fleetwood. The sides were of a leather-like material, read vinyl.

Thirteen trim and upholsdetry options were offered in the 1958 Fleetwood 60 Special.

Seven of these combined metallic nylon cloth (for the seating areas and seat backs) with colored regular or metallic leather bolsters and trim and identically colored vinyl in some hidden areas.

The other six seletions consisted of Mojave cloth or regular broadcloth throughout.

Six upholstery selections were available for the Fleetwood 75 sedan and limousine styles. All were broadcloth or a combination of broadcloth and Bedford cord. The limmousine drivers compartment was trimmed in black leather (2-inch piping, no bolsters).
